Ingredient List

Apple Crisp

  • Small check mark in a circle icon 6 apples (peeled, cored, chopped)
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 2 tablespoons flour
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/2 cup Apple Pie Toast Crunch Cereal
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 3/4 cup flour
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 3/4 cup oats
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/2 cup butter (cold, cubbed)
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Small check mark in a circle icon 1/8 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8 pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Add all filling ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Make sure to evenly coat apples and pour into a pan.
  3. In a separate bowl for the topping, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add cubed butter and press firmly with pastry cutter or fork to combine ingredients evenly.
  4. Fold in oats and Apple Pie Toast Crunch cereal.
  5. Pour topping over pan with the filling and spread out evenly.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
